The Quigless Natural Health Center of Tarboro was founded by Carol M. Quigless, daughter of Milton D. Quigless Sr., M.D., founder of the Quigless Clinic-Hospital, the first hospital in Edgecombe County, NC, that served Blacks. With that pioneering spirit from her family and her desire to be of profound service to humanity, she, along with many other talented health and wellness professionals established the Quigless Natural Health Center of Tarboro.
In a recent interview with Carol, she was asked to briefly describe her drive and the purpose of QNHCT. She replied, “It’s not about being alive, it’s about feeling alive.”
Offerings currently include a calendar of healthy and empowering educational seminars, experiential classes and community gatherings.
